Mr. John W. Herring, 70, a native of Wayne, Michigan and a resident of Anacoco, Louisiana passed away on Saturday April 29, 2023 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Mr. John Herring was a former Vietnam Veteran who received many awards in the fight to protect his country; husband who Loved his wife dearly, a father who would do anything for his children and family; a friend who was a joy to be around and most of all a professional Lock Smith who could fix and unlock any lock.

He was survived by his wife, Prengporn I. Herring of Anacoco, Louisiana; One daughter, Jessica Hayman (Kenny) of Leesville, Louisiana; Two step-daughters, Anne Mario and Amy Paikei; One step-son, Art Kumsupion of Leesville, Louisiana ; A Best friend Steve Saucier of Anacoco, Louisiana; Five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Bert Herring and Catherine Beetz Herring; One daughter, Chrystal Cook.
