Ken Chapman was a "Charter Member" of Post 12074 whose exemplary actions in Vietnam while serving with the U.S. Army earned him the Air Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, but more importantly, his heroic actions earned him the Distinguished Flying Cross.

Comrade Chapman also volunteered to design and manage the first VFW Post 12074 Website. Comrade Chapman served in an outstanding manner as webmaster while a regular attendee and active member of the Post. 

Comrade Chapman was a valued member of the Post and was the first of the Charter Members to to be assigned his heavenly wings.
