Brian
Walters is a Life Member of the VFW. He joined the Chiang Mai Post 12074 in June
2022.
His civilian
career included both sworn and non-sworn law enforcement positions. He retired from the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law,
Sacramento, California, in 2015 after serving as the Director of Campus Public
Safety Department.
He served in the US Navy Reserve, advancing to Chief Petty Officer. While in the Navy Reserve, he deployed multiple times to the Middle East, Iraq, and South Korea. His rates included Builder (Seabees), Yeoman, and the final rate of Master at Arms.
Brian has additionally served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve (2T1X1 Vehicle Operations), California National Guard (71L Admin Specialist), and the California State Military Reserve (56M Chaplain Assistant).
He retired to Thailand in 2015 and resides with his wife on the family’s farm.
